Do you have a lot of appointments, or are you a (self-employed) entrepreneur? Then you need a clear overview of all your appointments and meetings. Of course, there is nothing as annoying or unprofessional as forgetting an important appointment. Although there are of course many online agendas available these days and software in which appointments can be planned, the paper appointment agenda is still a trusted tool to maintain an overview. In this blog we would like to tell you more about the reasons why you should also consider a paper appointment agenda and what makes our appointment agendas unique.
What is an appointment calendar?
An appointment planner is a planner that has been specially developed for those who regularly plan appointments, meetings and conferences and would like to have a more organized and structured overview of them. An appointment planner is the perfect planning tool for this, because we have pre-printed the times of the day in the weekly overview of our appointment planners. An appointment planner is therefore often also called a planner with times. The pre-printed times in the weekly overview give you more control and structure when planning your appointments. Of course, you can also keep track of your appointments in a normal planner or agenda, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but an appointment planner with its customized interior is an even more pleasant and clearer tool than a normal agenda.
Who is an appointment calendar for?
As briefly mentioned above, an appointment planner is intended for anyone who wants more overview and structure in their appointments and meetings. It doesn't matter whether you have a lot of appointments or just a few, our appointment planners are intended for anyone who wants to record their appointment planning on paper with more structure. An appointment planner is, due to its versatility, ideally suited for work or the (home) office. An appointment planner is therefore also called an office planner or desk planner.
An appointment schedule is also an ideal planning tool for a (self-employed) entrepreneur with many different appointments with customers or clients. A group of business customers who use our appointment schedules are, for example, hairdressers, beauticians and dog grooming salons. However, because our appointment schedules are not developed for a specific segment or niche, it does not matter what kind of person or company you are or have to be able to use our appointment schedules.
Why a paper appointment diary?
With digital calendars now available on every smartphone or computer, it is easy to think that the paper appointment planner no longer has a right to exist. However, the advantages of a paper schedule of your appointments and meetings are undeniable.
Writing down your appointments on paper by hand usually takes a bit more time than creating an appointment in an online agenda. However, the advantage of writing down your appointments on paper is that you are more consciously and actively updating your planning than when you set an appointment in a digital environment with a few mouse clicks.
Because you put more “effort” and more thought into writing down your new appointment or meeting than when you schedule an appointment digitally, you will remember your appointment better and be able to store it in your memory. Namely, if it is important enough to write down, it is most likely also important enough to act on. An additional advantage of physically recording your appointments on paper is that many people can better visualize what their day/week/month looks like when planning on paper, precisely because writing down your appointments and to-do's has been a more intentional and active action. This mental overview gives much more peace and order in your head.
What can you find in our appointment calendars?
The weekly overview:
The most important part of our appointment diaries is the unique interior with the pre-printed times. In the weekly overview, you will find a separate vertical column for each weekday, in which the times of the day are pre-printed to give you more guidance when planning your appointments. An important point here is that the format of the diary determines how the times are pre-printed. For example, in the smaller A5 appointment diaries, the time is divided into hours, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. For the larger A4 appointment diaries, the pre-printed time indication is divided into quarters, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. In addition to the vertical columns per day, you will also find space with lines for extra notes each week.
Yearly and monthly planners:
Furthermore, you will always find yearly and monthly planners for the duration of the agenda in our appointment calendars. In these, you can plan your appointments and meetings for, as the name suggests, a year and the months of the duration of the agenda. This way, you can create a better overview of your planning over a longer period and visualize much better what the coming year and months will look like. This mental representation of your longer-term planning is almost impossible to achieve with only the weekly overviews, which is why these overviews have been added to the appointment calendars.
